Be it resolved that Council approves and accepts the Financial Statement as presented by Gerald Gauthier.

WHEREAS it has been determined that the fire department no longer requires the use of the old rescue truck. AND WHEREAS it has been recognized that the truck could be a great asset to the road department as a service truck, caring and storing tool and equipment used for various task around the township. THEREFORE, it is herby resolved that council authorizes and approves to transfer the old rescue truck from fire department to road department as a service truck.

WHEREAS the main storm sewer pipe at the North end of Des Cedres Street has a section of 50 meter by 600mm of concrete pipe is showing cracking, delamination and may collapse or degrade badly in a near future. The storm sewer system was inspected via CCTV to inspect the condition of the infrastructure before committing to paving after the Enbridge project is completed. After reviewing the CCTV, we determined some sections that need to be addressed, including this portion. THEREFORE be it resolved that Council approves and accepts to install a liner inside the damage main storm sewer pipe at the North end of Des Cedres Street.

WHEREAS the received tender price for paving Concession 9 which exceed the budgeted price of 240,000.00. The tender price came out at 402,991.00 THEREFORE be it resolved that council approves and accepts to pave concession 9 as per recommendation of the Road Superintendent in Report Number R003-2024 Re-Paving Concession 9.

Whereas The Township of East Hawkesbury Zoning By-Law enacts as fallows; Section 13 Rural (RU) Zone 13.2 Zone Provision 2. lot frontage (min.) 40m and; Section 14 Agriculture Type 1 (A1) Zone 14.1.2 Zone Provisions 2. lot frontage(min.)40m And Whereas the Official Plan of United Counties of Prescott and Russell states in section 3.3.5 Minor Collector Policies 1) A Minimum lot frontage of 100 metres shall be required for the creation of any new rural residential lots with the exception of County Road 4,24,26 and 10 east of St-Eugene Where a minimum lot frontage of 50 metres shall be required. Therefore be it resolved that the Council of the Township of East Hawkesbury requests that the UCPR Official Plan reflects the 50 metres for all Rural (RU) Zones and Agricultural Type 1 (A1) zone for East Hawkesbury Township. Be it further resolved that the resolution 2024-64 be resined.

Be it resolved that by-Law No. 2024-29 being a by-law to authorize an agreement between the Corporation of the Township of East Hawkesbury and Mr. Pierre Langlois be read a first, second and third time and passed in Open Council.

Be it resolved that the accounts paid for the accounts payable be approved as follows: For the March 1, 2024 to March 31. 2024 $1310356.44.

Be it resolved that council approves and accepts to donate a 300$ bursary for the Graduating class of VCI 2024 under the following conditions; A student from East Hawkesbury who was able to stand out, show improvement during their last year of high school.

Be it resolved that the present meeting be adjourned for a closed session for the following purpose(s): (a) the security of the property of the municipality or local board;
