Be it resolved that Council approves and accepts that truck #1 Ford F150 2005 be declared as surplus.

That Report regarding speed limit in Castor Road And That Council approves to reduce speed limit of Castor Road from 80km/h to 50km/h

Sauvé Whereas the Fire Chief applied for a grant under the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada for the purchase of three FLIR K55 Thermal imaging Cameras. Whereas the foundation does agree to make a donation of $26,877.05 to the Township of East Hawkesbury Fire Department to be used for the purchase of three FLIR K55 Thermal imaging Cameras. Therefor e the Council of the Township of East Hawkesbury authorizes Bryce Luker to sign the agreement under the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada for the purchase of three FLIR K55 Thermal imaging Cameras.

That Report Number FD001 regarding hiring volunteer firefighters from outside of the Township of East Hawkesbury’s geographical boundaries is hereby received. Therefore Council approves to hire outside of the Township of East Hawkesbury’s geographical boundaries according to the following; Allow interested individuals to apply to the Township’s Fire Department if their primary employment is within the Township’s boundaries Allow interested individuals to apply to the Township’s Fire Department if they are within 12 km of one of the 3 fire halls. All things being equal, local applicants will be prioritized. The number of external members will not surpass 20% of the allowed 27-member firefighter roster (6 members)

WHEREAS The Township of East Hawkesbury was approved for a project under Canada Community Revitalization Fund. AND WHERAS EVB recommends Isolation Spray-Tech Insulation according the Estimate sent on May 4 2022. AND WHERAS Councilor Richard Sauvé wants Luc Lalonde to inform Fracine Lauzon of the work established in the estimate. THEREFORE Council approves and accepts the project as set out in the presented estimate
